Instead of taking you to the farm, we are bringing the farm to you!
Watch the videos below for a field trip to a local farm! Learn all about the animals and plants that live and grow on farms close to where you live.
In the videos you will meet the farmers, and learn about what they have on their farm. As you will see, farms all look different!
The first farm we will be visiting is a family farm in Chenango Forks! Aukema Family Farm care for a lot of animals, and also grow different things on their farm. Meet Brian and other members of the family as they show you around the farm.
Can you guess all of the different things you might see on the farm? What different animals might you see? Before watching the video, make a list of some of the things you might see on some of the 'farm visits' today.
*Both videos are appropriate for K-5th grade, and may be watched and enjoyed by all. Note that the Animals on the Farm is better suited for younger audiences, and the Calves on the Farm has material aimed towards 3rd grade-5th grade.
