Vegetable Tie Dye

Did you know you could use vegetables as a dye for clothes?! For many years, people would use vegetables with strong colors to dye their clothes. People would use berries, bark, and other parts of plants to turn fabric red, oranges, purple, and so much more. 

Watch the video below to learn how to use purple cabbage to dye your clothing different colors. She teaches you how to change the color of the cabbage juice pink, purple, and blue to create beautiful designs on your clothing!

Caution: Have an adult help you with this process, and get permission before starting. You will need to use boiling water.
