Fall on the Farm

Fall into farm activities!

Fall is an exciting time on the farm. Farmers are still harvesting a lot of fruits and vegetables to sell to people and stores for us to enjoy. Animals on the farm continue to enjoy the summer weather and start to enjoy the cooler fall temperatures.

Fall is especially fun throughout New York State! There are a lot of fun activities to enjoy on the farm. New York State grows a lot of apples that are ready to be picked and enjoy in the fall. There are also pumpkins and farm activities such as corn mazes!

Follow along below as we take a trip to a local apple farm in Binghamton, NY called Apple Hills. Apple Hills grows many different types of apples and they invite people onto their farm to pick apples at the end of the summer and throughout the fall. Continue below or click here to learn more about apples on the farm as well as read a fun apple story!

Click here to continue to learn about pumpkins on the farm and learn how to make some tasty pumpkin treats!
